King of the Koi Pond is an original fine fiber art wool painting. The dimensions are 11″ x 14″. “King of the Koi Pond”, is made with wool, and silk on canvas. Created in 2020. This is the largest and oldest koi in Madam Bledsoe’s pond. Ruby has come to favor his gentle nature and he comes quickly to her. It’s unknown exactly how old this fish is. Madam can’t remember if he is one of the fish she brought back from Japan or if he’s one of foundation koi from the years the Braddock’s owned Broken Elms. Ruby suspects that Madam Bledsoe’s style of neglect favors his long life, though she doesn’t condone it.
Keeping Original Felt Fine Art Clean – Contrary to popular belief, wool art is easy to maintain. It can last hundreds, if not thousands of years if it is consistently treated well. Mounting your wool art on a wall in indirect sunlight will deter pests, which require dark areas with little to no air flow to reproduce. Dust is easily dislodged by patting the work from behind or firmly tapping the frame while holding the work face down. Dust can also be removed with canned air if desired.
